To better help you quickly find what you are looking for, here are a few guidelines to following with your Topic Title.
##For all Cases of Looking
- Include brackets ("[" & “]”) and the beginning of your Title with any of the variations below.
- Try to keep the number first so it is more quickly seen be those looking
- When you are no longer looking, or spots have been filled, change your Topic to say [Closed]
- This will help stop people from looking at and posting in topics that won’t benefit them
##Single Individual Looking
- For most cases the following works: [1 Player LFG]
- In your post, make sure to include the following:
- Your Timezone
- Languages you are comfortable speaking (or typing)
- Playing formats you are willing to use (Roll20, Discord, Forum posting, Voice, Video, etc)
- Days & Times you are available to play
- It is best to include a range of times, such as I can start as early as ____ and go as late as _____
- This will greatly increase your chances of finding a group
- Your playing experience (both with TTRPG as well as Open Legend itself)
- This isn’t as needed, but might be something people will end up asking you anyways
##GM/DM/Referee/Group Seeking a Number of Players
- Include basic information in the Title such as the number you are looking,a nd keep it updated as it is filled up:
- [0/2 LFM] (LFM = Looking for Members)
- [0/3 Roll20 LFM]
- [2/5 Discord LFM]
- Feel free to include something eyecatching afterwards, perhaps mentioning Genre
- Make sure to include lots of information for seekers to see in the post:
- Main Language for the campaign that is expected
- You can include other languages that players speak, but this isn’t needed
- Day(s) and the Time the game will be played on
- If the Time is flexible, for example if the group is still forming, then include ranges as per the Individual example above
- The format you expect the game to be played with (on Roll20, through Discord, using Voice and/or Video, etc)
- Details about the campaign world
- Genre
- Tech levels
- Starting level for Characters
- Any special limitations or inclusions
- Any other relevant information Players should know before thinking of joining
- Your experience level (not as needed, but some might be curious)
