Seriously though, a much better example.

Sylvester “The String Bean” grabs the lotus flower out of his bag, which everyone knows is the most deadly of poisonous plants. He proceeds to chew it, and you see his EXTREME fortitude completely negates it. You are shamed by your inability to do the same.

I could see a failed Fortitude save “Failing but progressing the story” as a projectile attack… depending on what you’ve eaten, you could toss in a bit of acid damage? :smiley:
