I have been running a superhero one shot that I discussed in a previous post, basically magic users created by the gods and superheroes are at war with each other. The 3 magic user players abandon the gods and enter the city of superheroes where they come across a war zone. Constant death and destruction are around every turn. They look to the sky and see a heated battle between a martial artist and a magic user, and they fly to help. They fight him for a while before a magic user (styled after Sun Wukong) clones himself to help distract the enemy while our martial artist charges up his Ki into a handgun. He lets off the bullets into basically energy beams, and impales the magic user with them. The damage was a ridiculous number, and he immediately dies. Then a telepathic magic user discovers the man they just killed was the god of movement.
