Hi, I might be reading to much into this but when you go from Companion II to Companion III it doesn’t say that it gets to keep its feat-points from Tier II so does it keep them or do you have to reinvest them?

Unless the effects of a higher tier replace the lower tiers, you keep all bonuses when you purchase additional tiers, so yes you keep the feat points.
